This will be the twelth FELI hosted on the campus of Cabrillo College in Aptos California. The ACE program began at Cabrillo, with the first ACE student cohort of students in the Fall of 2003 on the Watsonville campus. In the Winter FELI 2014 that relationship continued as employees from the city of Watsonville attended and contributed a rich community-based organization's perspective. Since that institute the Monterey winter and summer FELIs have become known for their diverse mix of different colleges colleagues and community members.

Berkeley City College (BCC) began their ACE program in the fall of 2009. Since that time BCC have more than doubled their program, developing numerous course innovations. They with plans for increased expansion over the next two years, through the leadership of ACE Master Mentor III and ACE coordinator Chris Lebo-Planas. BCC is offering a limited number of seats to outside college colleagues.

Arkansas State University Newport (ASUN), in collaboration with Ozarka College, will be holding this FELI to train faculty in preparation for launching their student cohorts in the Fall 2015 term on their respective campuses. Ozarka College will be pioneering a new Foundations of Leadership course model while ASUN has already made innovations in a new learning community model this Spring, which will be enhanced by ACE courses this Fall. Registration is open to ASUN & Ozarka faculty and staff and a limited number of colleagues from other colleges and universities.
