Student Equity: Moving the Needle by Addressing the Non-Cognitive Domain

Community College League of California 2015 Annual Convention

Session Description:  Evidence suggests that closing the student equity gap will require addressing non-cognitive skills such as grit and persistence. However, without measuring the effects of affective interventions we cannot determine effective practices. This session will focus on academic and non-cognitive evidence of effective practices, and models of best practices from across the country.
