REASON FOR BECOMING INVOLVED WITH ACE:
After completing the FELI, I was completely inspired by ACE! What I like best about this program is the bridging of affect and intellect. In the ACE learning community, I can teach academic concepts while honoring a student’s emotional reality. I feel that ACE brings out the best teaching in me, allowing me to reach out to students with great love, understanding, and compassion. I love my ACE students! They inspire me like no other students or classroom.
