Foundation Course (FC) Practicum

The Foundation Course (FC) Practicum gives instructors the tools and techniques for successfully teaching the ACE Foundation Course, and is led by an FC Master Mentor.

FC Practicum begins with a half-day orientation that explains the structure of ACE and gives an in-depth review of the Foundation Course curriculum.

The remainder of the FC Practicum occurs simultaneously with a live Foundation Course. Participants attend the entire Foundation Course, observing and assisting the Master Mentor. Participants may be asked to lead some exercises to better understand how to teach the unique pedagogy. After the students have left for the day, participants meet with the Master Mentor to review the day and seek clarification on teaching techniques.
