Perter Bartlett

Community Organizer

Peter was first engaged by ACE in 2007.  His is responsible for architecting and delivering process, methods and coaching to enable ACE Community Engagement both face-to-face and virtually.

 

Peter has over 25 years of business experience in planning, designing, implementing and coaching business leaders to effectively execute strategic change initiatives.   What distinguishes Peter in this area is his broad set of competencies and his ability to drive strategic change efforts from concept to results. 

 

He has worked both as an internal consultant (for Hewlett Packard, Lockheed Martin, US Army, World Bank, Darden Restaurants and Lee Hecht Harrison) and as a Career Coach.  In addition to working with ACE, Peter is a also currently a Senior Partner in Sapience Organizational Consulting.

 

At Hewlett Packard, Peter was a senior consultant on Organizational Architecture for their Strategic Change Services business supporting a number of organizational redesigns and change efforts within the LaserJet, InkJet, Test & Measurement (became Agilent Technologies) and HP’s Enterprise & Services business. While with Hewlett Packard, Peter leveraged his community organizing background to co-manage their Work Innovation Network (WIN), which garnered international recognition for building organizational design and change capability globally throughout HP.

 

Peter holds a B.A. in Urban Studies in from San Francisco State University, and a M.A. in Human Resources Management - with an emphasis Community Organization and Development - from Pepperdine University.

 

Peter resides with his family in Charlottesville, Virginia where he enjoys being granddad to three wonderful grandchildren. In his spare time, he is often found fly fishing from the banks of Virginia’s beautiful rivers for trout under the guidance of catch & release.
