Laurie Rubin

Account Manager & Adoption Analyst

Laurie maintains and manages day-to-day relations with ACE Partner Colleges.  She also works with Jim Knickerbocker, Director of College Partnerships, on developing and writing the ACE adoption methodolgy.

Prior to joining ACE in 2010, Laurie worked in fundraising, development, and campaign planning for national and international nonprofit organizations serving the arts, education, environment, and science.  Most recently she was Development and Strategic Planning Consultant for International Funders for Indigenous Peoples.  A transplant from the east coast, one of her most enjoyable experiences upon arrival to California was working with members of the community to develop an Arts Master Plan for the City of Santa Cruz.

In addition to non-traditional studies, Laurie majored in math and biological science at Hunter College, Bard College, and Columbia-Greene Community College. 

In her ancient past, Laurie traveled extensively as a professional dancer and then practiced yoga for many years.  She lives in Santa Cruz, California.
