REASON FOR BECOMING INVOLVED WITH ACE:
My goal is always my students’ success.  I think this program will help more students to be successful in college and life.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
I began teaching English at the University of Nevada-Reno after I finished my graduate studies in Humanities at the University of Chicago.  When my family relocated to the Philadelphia area, I began teaching writing and literature courses at Delaware County Community College.  I have now been at DCCC for 18 years.  It is my belief that professors and students are both learners.  My goal is to lead students to be excited about learning, the world, and themselves as agents of their own destinies.  I am forever trying to improve my abilities to do this.
